'Wildflowers Woven by Starlight' was created as part of our Artist series, created to spotlight and celebrate Australian artists and designers. Inspired by the natural textures of the Australian landscape, Mia’s work draws on everything from moss-covered rocks to sunlit bushland, creating pieces that feel both grounded and dreamlike.

Through bold palettes, layered textures and expressive mark making, Mia explores the energy and emotion of the everyday. Her practice is deeply intuitive, with a focus on creating work that brings a sense of lightness, warmth and wonder into the spaces we live in.

Note: If a thread has been snagged, please do not pull it. Simply cut the loose thread at the base of to stop any further pulling - this will not affect the cushions structure.
